Hi, I'm Winibey!

I was born in the city of Caracas, Venezuela, I am a Master at the IEBS University (Business School of Innovation and Entrepreneurs). Spain and Bachelor of Fine Arts Mention Painting IUESAPAR, Venezuela.

I have participated in several Collective and Individual exhibitions in my country of origin and internationally.

My Passion

My pictorial work daily explores scenarios of everyday life represented in portraits and their surroundings; of people mostly women who come from photo albums, and public archives that; without visual fragmentation, suggest personal chronicles.

The Opportunities Came My Way

The historiographies of my paintings are personal reflections, historical narratives of portraits that narrate their own stories, giving a visual value to the woman who has been interpreted countless times for her power in history.

My paintings include portraits of women with intimate elements or objects; in rooms or in stereo spaces where floral patterns of wallpapers that collect anecdotally emotional brushstrokes underlie.

The neo figuration of my portraits is nothing more than my love for figurative painting versus abstraction.
