A brief description of my work

SINGULAR/ PAINTER, ARTIST, TEXTILE ARTIST | UNITED STATES

Winibey Lopez BORN 1983

« The neofiguration of my portraits is nothing more than my love for figurative painting versus abstraction. »

Winibey Lopez is a Venezuelan painter, cartoonist and textile artist based in the United States whose works have been exhibited in England. Fusing abstraction with figuration, she describes her distinctive portraits as personal reflections and historical narratives that give "visual value to the woman who has been portrayed countless times for her power in history." Most of the time he creates with acrylics on paper, canvas or wood.
